When is OAU Admission List Coming Out and How to Check – 2018

This post gives you the date and time to expect the release of Obafemi Awolowo University’s admission list and how to check your admission status as soon as its been released for the 2018/2019 academic session.

OAU is one of the Nigerian Universities that applicants has been so worried to know whether the admission list for 2018/2019 has been released or not.

So many questions has been received from OAU applicants trying to confirm whether OAU admission is ready to be released or not.

So also the direct entry applicants are so keen to know when OAU direct entry list for 2018/2019 would also be released.

As we all know, OAU admission is Usually in batches i.e first batch, second batch and third batch. So the first batch admission for last year was released in September 9th and also that of the previous year.

So when should we be expecting OAU admission list for 2018/2019?

How to Check your OAU Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

You may not want to wait till OAU releases the admission list on the school site, you can check your admission status on JAMB CAPS following the procedures below:

1. Open your favourite browser on your phone or Desktop( Google Chrome).

2. Visit the JAMB caps admission checking portal using this link http://caps.jamb.gov.ng/acceptadmission.aspx.

3. Then scroll down to check CAPS UTME/DE Admission status.

4. Click on UTME/DE Admission button to check and accept/reject your 2018 status of admission.

5. Your details including Jamb score, institution, date of birth,etc will appear when you have successfully logged in to Jamb caps portal.

6. If you are given admission and you like the school then click on accept admission.

7. If the institution and course space is blank or you have not been offered admission then don’t click on accept admission. Just keep checking back.

8. Be very careful not to accept admission when you are not offered (or when you have hope of gaining admission in a better school).

9. Once you accept the admission offered you then your admission door is closed for that year.

10. On the other hand, if you see welcome while you click on CAPS, don’t be annoyed. Just use desktop version to see the menu and then click on check admission status

Though, OAU admission list may be delayed this year due to the school management issues and latest reviews in JAMB.
