The management of Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife, is inviting application from suitable qualified candidate for admission into the following programs:
- Basic General Nursing (This is a three-year programme commencing in October, 2020).
- Post Basic General Nursing (This is an eighteen-month programme commencing in March, 2021).

OAUTHC School of Nursing Admission Requirements.
Basic General Nursing:
- Applicants must possess: WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. He or she should be at least sixteen (16) years old on admission.
Post Basic General Nursing:
- Possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with 5 credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Be a registered Midwife or Psychiatric Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- Have at least one year post registration working experience.
How To Apply For OAU Basic General Nursing
Application forms are obtainable from Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Schools of Nursing, Ife Hospital Unit, Ile-Ife and Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa at a cost of Eight Thousand (N8,000.00) Naira through remita platform via OAUTHC Website.
Passport Photograph: Two recent identical passport photographs should be attached to the application form.
Mode of Examination: The examination will be Computer Based Test.
Closing Date: 16th October, 2020.
Date of Entrance Examination: Entrance examination shall be conducted by the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Nursing and Midwifery Central Selection Committee on Tuesday 20th & Wednesday 21st Oct., 2020.
Selection Interview: Between Monday 2nd & Friday 6th Nov., 2020
