University of Ilorin for several years has been known and honored for its stable academic calendar, and it has never failed when it comes to strict adherence to the school academic program on a yearly basis.
For the past few years when I’ve personally been an observer of the school’s program, I can tell you the trend of how the school does it things.
The Usual Date For Unilorin Post UTME and Admission In The Past
1) 2010/2011 Session: In 201/2011 academic which I used to gain admission into the school as a direct entry applicant. The post UTME was conducted in August. I wrote my own exam on August 13 of 2010 and the result was released the following day and admission was released in September 23 same year.
Can you guess what I scored that made me gain an automatic admission? I won’t tell you.

2) 2014/2015 Academic Session: University released its post UTME screening exercise on July 14 2014 and so many applicants started writing the exam as early as 17th of July, result was released immediately on the same day and admission was given to successful applicants by September same year.
3) 2015/2016 Academic Session: Unilorin released its post UTME 4th of August 2015 and the admission was also released in September.
Note: All the admission released by in September were first batches for all the years and subsequent list follows as earlier as possible.
Now the question you will like to ask is…. When is Unilorin 2016/2017 admission screening be out?

You want me to leave story and tell you the fact…but honestly, am only trying to tell you that, University of Ilorin is yet to release their admission screening date for this year, does not mean they won’t meet up with their usual time of releasing first batch admission and their academic program.
This is just August 23rd, and and admission is always towards the end of September. So be calm.
What Do You Think Causes This Delay?
One of the applicants complained bitterly that all the Federal universities in Nigeria including UNIMAID has announced their screening date, and why Ilorin. I only told her to be calm, ABU Zaria is yet to commence its own also. Many Universities only registered and yet to do anything since then keeping their registered applicants in suspense.
Schools like UNIBEN, LASU, UNIMAID and so many big schools in Nigeria only commenced registration and nothing more.
