1) Direct Entry admission Requirements Into Architecture FUTA:
Candidates seeking admission into Architecture through direct entry must have 5 credit passes at the West
African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or NECO or GCE O/L or its equivalent at not more than two sittings in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Physics; and two credits from Technical Drawing, Chemistry, Geography, Fine Arts, Biology/Agric and Economics. Candidates must have at least a pass in
Chemistry.
Holders of the National Diploma (OND) in Architecture or related disciplines with Upper Credit level pass, from NBTE accredited institutions may be considered for admission for Direct Entry provided they meet the minimum requirements of O level.

Candidates with the GCE ‘A’ level passes in at least two subjects from Mathematics, Geography and Physics can also be considered for admission provided they meet the conditions in (a) above.

2) FUTA Direct Entry Admission Requirements Into Estate Managements
The entry requirements for the direct entry applicants include the O level requirements which are are five credits in WASSCE or NECO or GCE (O/L) or equivalent at not more than two sittings. The credits should be in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and two others from Geography, Chemistry, Agricultural
Science/Biology, Government or History and Technical Drawing. Candidate is expected to have at least a pass in Physics.
Candidates may be admitted to the 200 level of the programme if they have any of the following in addition to the UTME requirements specified in A. above:
  •  Advanced Level passes in Economics and at least, any one of Mathematics, Geography, Biology or Chemistry; or
  •  OND in Estate Management or any field relevant to Environmental Planning, Design and Management with at least Upper Credit; or
  •  Any other equivalent qualifications
3) Direct Entry Admission Requirements Into Industrial Design FUTA
Candidates seeking direct entry admission into the Department of Industrial Design for the bachelor’s degree programme must possess 5  credit passes in not more than two sittings in the following subjects: English Language,  Mathematics, Chemistry, and 2 of the following: Economics, Physics, Technical Drawing, Fine Art and Geography. Credit or Pass in Fine Art will be an additional advantage, while a pass grade in Physics will be acceptable.
In addition to satisfying the requirements above, candidates seeking admission through direct entry should have:
  • GCE (Advanced Level) passes in at least two subjects from the following: Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Physics,  Fine Art,  Technical Drawing or Economics.
  • Holders of the National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of upper credit  from recognized institutions may also be considered for admission, provided they meet the minimum entry requirements, and have passed in relevant subjects in the ND examinations at credit level.
4) FUTA Direct Entry Admission Requirements Into Qantity Survey
Direct entry applicants must meet up with five O level credits in English Language, Mathematics and Physics and any two of the following subjects: Chemistry, Economics, Building Construction, Technical Drawing, Geography, Government.
In addition to the UTME requirements specified in (a) above, candidates for direct entry must possess
  •  National Diploma from recognized Polytechnic or College of Technology at Upper Credit level in Quantity Surveying or Building Technology or other relevant fields in Environmental Design and Management.
  •  GCE ‘A’ level passes in at least two of the following subjects:  Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Geography and Economics.
5) Urban and Regional Planning Direct Entry FUTA
In addition to fulfilling the requirement of five O level credits in WAEC/NECO or equivalent, candidates seeking admission to 200 Level shall possess any of the following:
  • Advanced level passes in at least two of the following: Mathematics, Geography, Economics, Physics and Chemistry; and
  • National Diploma (ND) at Upper Credit in Town and Regional Planning.
