2017: JAMB Registration Fee, How To Apply, Pass And Gain Admission Into Nigerian University

Gradually, 2017 admission exercise is coming to an end. If you have not been offered admission into any of your institutions of choice till this moment, I encouraged you to start preparing for next UTME. This may sound so negative, but it is one of the most honest advise anyone can offer at this crucial time.

In case you are still feeling the pains of the disappointment that came with not gaining admission in 2017, I have already prepared how to cope with the frustration of not gaining admission for you and I encouraged you to read it.

In about a week ago, JAMB officially announced that 2016/2017 admission exercise for Federal and State Universities has been concluded, henceforth, no admission lists should be expected from institutions in this categories. So also admission into private Universities must have closed by now.

This simply mean, you should start to prepare for another UTME and see how to do things differently this time. It is on this ground, that, I’m preparing this post to cover most of your questions on Nigerian Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of education’s admission for 2017/2018 academic session.

When Is 2018 JAMB/UTME Form Coming Out?

This is one of the most asked questions by prospective applicants in the past few weeks. They wanted to know when JAMB/UTME for 2017 registration form would be available and how much is the fee.

Presently, 2017 JAMB/UTME registration form is not yet out, but we are desperately expecting it to be out any time soon. If the form is not out in this December, definitely 2017 JAMB registration form would be out by early January. We shall update you soon.

 

How To Register 2018/2019 JAMB/UTME?

This is another question begging for an immediate response. How to register the next JAMB, where can I get JAMB scratch Card and How much is the JAMB registration fees are all to be answered.

With this new administration, I’m proud to tell you that, JAMB applicants will no longer need to buy any scratch card anywhere before they can apply for UTME. All you just need to do, is to walk to any JAMB accredited cafe and get yourself registered.

You will only paid them, while they use their ATM card to make payment on JAMB registration portal. It is official, JAMB has stopped the use of scratch card to register for UTME, pay for admission letter, or change of institution.

What is 2018 JAMB Registration Fee?

Everyone wants to know how much it will cost them to register for 2017 UTME in Nigeria. The reason is not far fetch, as we all know that some applicants will have to run around to get such money. While some will even work for a month to earn that.


JAMB registration fee for 2018 is
not yet out, but rumor had it that, it would be between N6250 to N6500. I encouraged you to just prepare for N7000 at worst.

Necessary Documents For 2018 JAMB Registration

In case you want to apply for 2017/2018 UTME, you may not need much when it comes to documents requirement. Just your O’level result and passport. I believe you know your State of origin, LGA and your date of birth off hand. In case you don’t know them, you may need to go to the registration center with them.

In case you want to use awaiting result to apply for 2017 UTME, don’t worry about O’level result, just tell them its awaiting result.

After following the right steps and applied for your 2017 UTME, the joy of every student and parent is to see success at the end of the whole things.

Success starts from passing your JAMB, passing your universities’ admission screening and gaining admission into your Universities of choice. All these will come your way this year Insha Allah.

So how do I pass JAMB?
This is easy and the major responsibilities lie in your hand. As we all know, proper preparation prevents poor performance. You just have to be determined and read to be successful.

Do the following simple things and pass your JAMB:

  1. Register for JAMB as early as possible: Don’t wait till deadline. If you are yet to register for JAMB, there is high possibility that you won’t prepare well. The best way to put yourself on the run is to register as early as possible.
  2. Get Jamb Syllabus: Its very unfortunate that, many JAMB candidates don’t even know JAMB syllabus for the subjects they wanna write in JAMB. Don’t do the same.
  3. Get all Necessary Text Books: Get necessary and recommended text books for your exam as early as possible.
  4. Read them: Getting text books is far different from reading them. Read them as much as possible to understand.
  5. Attend Tutorial
  6. Practice with JAMB CBT software
  7. Go to your center as early as possible
  8. Be Accurate With Time Usage
  9. Attempt All Questions
  10. Don’t Cheat

With all these, I so much believe you will surely pass your UTME/JAMB 2017 when the result is released.
