Now your school’s resumption date is out and you keep feeling like resuming even some days before the real date. I notice the joy and the excitement in your face. It keep on telling you to resume school as soon as possible.
It could be because you don’t want to miss any lecture, you quickly want to go to get an off campus apartment, or maybe you just wanna leave home and hook up with the new friends you just made online.

4 Major Reasons Why You Must Not Rush To Resume School As A Fresher
1) The School Is Always Scanty At Early Resumption Days: If you have a sibling in any higher institution, ask them how does it looks to be in the University’s environment during the first week of academic resumption.He/she will only tell you school is always empty, bushy, untidy and scanty. You will so much be disappointed. Almost 90% of the continuous students would be home, still hustling to get some stuff. This is how it will remain for the first week of resumption and some days in the second week.
2) Registration Would Not Have Taken Place Properly: As a new student, maybe you quickly resume to school in order to get yourself register as soon as possible. Believe me, it wont be as you assumed. Registration would not have commenced. This is because, most of the staff to attend to you might not even be available.
The proper delegation of duty to who is to do this and that just commenced by the departmental HODs. So by then, the school management just resume too and putting things in place.
3) No Lecture Will Take Place: If you are resuming to school in the first week just because you want to start lecture as soon as possible. I’m sorry… It won’t work out that way. Proper lecture may not commence for newly admitted students until some reasonable number of you got registered.
Remember, second batch admission is yet to come, so also third batch. So they may not want to bomber-ed you with much lectures when they know many students are yet to be offered admission.
4) You Will Waste Your Money & Food Stuff: I believe, the moment you left home, you have nothing to start spending from other than your pocket money and you will also start consuming from your food stuff. No matter how much they are, you might have consumed a reasonable amount from them before school resumes proper. That is why many new students will start calling home even before lecture commences.
