Admission Update: Check Your O'Level Subjects Combination For Admission Screening

Admission Update: Check Your O'Level Subjects Combination For Admission Screening
I will always do this for humanity. With my experience on this blog, I got to know that, so many UTME/Direct Entry applicants could not gain admission not because they failed, but because they lack guardian. They don't know what are the necessary things to put in place to pursue a successful admission into Nigerian Universities.

Its on this ground that I created this blog, to put you, him and the next generation in order. This is a guide for you.

Back to the matter.... Two days back, I wrote and listed the necessary documents you needed to put in place before your school's admission screening. If you are yet to read it. CLICK HERE to see all you need to gain admission.

First on my list was Your O'Level result with five credits passes. But do you know its possible to have 5, 6, 7 or 9 O' level credits and yet you are not qualified for admission even when your JAMB score is 320?

I know you will ask how possible? This is very possible, it happens always, and this may even be the reasons why you have been denied admission several times in the past years.

What Is The O'Level General Requirements For Admission

The O' Level general requirements is simple and I think its Known to you and I. its known to everybody that 5 credits O level passes in relevant subject is the requirement, which must include English and Mathes. But do you know all courses in the University have their own specific O' Level subject combination's requirements?

Its is very easy to have 5 credits, but difficult to have five credits passes in relevant subjects. For those of you that usually combine science with art plus commercial in your SSCE, this is the time you are likely to face serious problem, because at the end of the day, you will find out that you have no five credit passes in relevant courses. Even though your result shows 9 credits.

Courses Specific O'Level Requirements For Admission
JAMB too its time to explain and list it out in details for all courses. There is a difference five O level combination for Law, for medicine, for Islamic studies, for Engineering, For Accounting, Yoruba, Masscom, Business administration and all that.

They are all different and you must meet up with the O'level requirements of your course before you can be offered admission to that course.

Its is on this ground that, all Universities also follow the guide from JAMB concerning subject combinations for O'Level. So you can't pass their admission screening, without having a proper O level as required.

Have you ever bring out your O'level result and check weather your Subject combination In WAEC, NECO, NAPTEB can give you admission into the course you applied? If NO, am sorry, I don't think you are preparing for screening.

How To Check Your O'Level Subject Combination For The Course You Applied
  1. Click HERE
  2. Choose The faculty you applied
  3. Choose the course you applied
  4. You will see the subject combination required of you to have credit passes in order to gain admission.
If you checked and your Olevel combination is not in accordance with JAMB requirements, you can combine another result to make it complete.

In case you don't know how to do it, I can do it for you (if am less busy)

All the best dear.
