As we all know, JAMB has officially commenced the uploading and posting of 2016/2017 applicants to various Universities for admission consideration. Thereafter, advised any successful applicant to proceed to their schools for admission screening exercise.
For direct entry applicants, so many applicants has called us to know weather the direct entry list has also been updated and can be checked on Jamb site or not. We will also discuss this now.
So far, so many applicants have been so lucky to see their names for the courses they put in for, while majority are still hanging. The reason for this is that, the uploading is still ongoing, and JAMB will continue to recommend students for admission as the time passes by.
What Is The Cut Off Mark For Those Who Are Recommended For Admission?
If you are yet to see your name and you think, it could be that you did not meet up with the point, this may not be true in as much as you scored up to 180 in your UTME. Since the Jamb official cut off mark is 180, so it is expected that any applicant that scored up to 180 would be recommended.
So far, I have some of my students who scored 182 and were recommended, while some who scored 240 are yet to be recommended, in the same school and the same courses. Both O level results are complete.
So as a matter of fact, the recommendation is on going and you have nothing to worry about. Okay? Just keep checking.
Direct Entry List Are Not Yet Updated
Those who applied for direct entry are not yet uploaded, because more than 200 direct entry applicants that we checked for, non of them has been recommended for admission in any school. So we therefore conclude that, since direct entry form is still on sale and it closes on 29th of July 2016, we should just keep our leg cross and keep checking when Jamb will officially update the direct entry list for admission consideration.
My friend….be calm.
