Lagos State University has always been known with its great number of JAMB applicants for most of its courses on a yearly basis. The 2018/2019 JAMB application is of no much difference with that of the previous years because as usual, Business administration top the lists of applicants with 1,555, followed by Mass comm, and medicine and surgery maintain the third position.

The question is, why almost everyone one to be a journalist or medical doctor when there are a lot of courses with less than five applicants into so many departments in the University?
